Diya Decoration, Rangoli Making, Aarti Recitation, Chanting of Shlokas Activity | 14th Oct. 2017

Today on 14th October 2017, The celebration of Diwali ,'The festival of lights' came alive at The Scholars Valley, during Diwali Celebration Week.

The school organized “Diya Decoration, Rangoli Making, Aarti Recitation, Chanting of Shlokas Activity”. All the students from classes 1st to 8th took part in the activity enthusiastically. The rangoli done by students added the perfect setting to the festivity. The things were decorated very beautifully. The Director & Principal lit the lamp to begin the assembly on the auspicious occasion. Some of the students chanted Shlokas and Mantras which brought out the essence of the festival -celebration of life and goodness. During recitation, the atmosphere became quite meditative. Students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. The assembly concluded with Principal Sir giving away the message of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali.

Class-wise Soft-board Decoration Competition | 13th Oct. 2017

Today on 13th October 2017, the school organized “Class-wise Soft-board Decoration Competition” for the classes 1st to 9th. The students were given the Theme of ‘Diwali’.

All the boards were decorated very beautifully. The students showed their creativity in decorating the board. Through their boards, the students gave the message that Diwali should be decorated in an eco-friendly way. All the boards got appreciation whereas class 9th won the competition.

Fancy Dress | 6th Oct. 2017

Students of The Scholars Valley Pre-primary Section (Playgroup, Nursery, KG) & 1st, 2nd participated in the “Fancy Dress” competition which was held on 6th October, 2017.

It was the most awaited event of the year, as it is always a pleasure to watch the toddlers dressed up as different characters. It was overwhelming to see our little ones speaking confidently. This activity helped the students of the pre-primary section to overcome their stage fear, bring out their inner talent, give them a platform to build their self-confidence and explore their inner strength.

The event took place in the school multipurpose hall. All the Tiny Tots of PG to 2nd participated in the show enthusiastically.

The dynamic show concluded with the encouraging words of the Principal, Mr. Amit Sehgal who lauded the admiral performances of the tiny tots, and the teachers for the success of the event. Everybody enjoyed the event.

Talent Hunt Competition 2017 | 5th Oct. 2017

Today on 5th October 2017, the School organized “Talent Hunt Competition 2017” for classes 3rd to 9th in the school multipurpose hall. The students enthusiastically presented Solo Dance, Songs, Plays and Self-composed poems. They showed their talent in the field of singing, dancing, music, mimicry, acting, dialogue delivery, etc. This competition provided a platform to the students to exhibit their talent.

The winners will be awarded certificates during the Annual Prize Distribution Function. The stage was conducted by Mr. Ateesh Kumar. The Directors, Mr. Jaspreet Singh & Mrs. Shailpreet Kaur and Principal, Mr. Amit Sehgal; congratulated the winners and wished them good luck. all the school children along with school staff enjoyed the event a lot.

Yellow Day Celebration | 25th July 2017

With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour, Pre-Primary and Primary (1st & 2nd) Wing celebrated “Yellow day” on 25th July, 2017.

A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favorite yellow dresses but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete “Yellow Day”!

Tiffins were filled with bananas, custard, jelly, lemons, mangoes, pineapples etc. Attractive yellow coloured toys like racing cars, teddy bears, dolls, balls, balloons, flying discs, flowers and masks made the learning environment active and sporty.

Cheerful Children attired in yellow outfits were sparkling with optimism, enlightenment and happiness. Beams of yellow shades carried the promise of a positive future flashing creative thoughts in the young minds.

The motive of celebrating this yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.
